Slow down at our hilltop sanctuary in Goa, where open skies, tropical greenery, and a calm environment create the perfect setting for rest and renewal.
Days begin with optional guided yoga and meditation in a quiet, open shala, allowing the body to awaken gently and the mind to settle. Between practices, there is space to relax by the pool, enjoy nourishing meals, read in the shade, or explore the nearby beaches and villages.
As the days unfold, many guests notice a natural shift. The pace softens, the body unwinds, and the mind becomes clearer. What often remains long after the retreat ends is a steadier rhythm, a deeper connection to practice, and a renewed sense of balance.

At ālaya wellbeing, participation is always by choice. Afternoons are intentionally left open, allowing time for rest, solitude, or quiet reflection without expectation or pressure. The retreat is thoughtfully supported for solo travellers and those visiting India for the first time.
Accommodation and meals are included, allowing you to arrive, settle in, and slow down without the distraction of practical arrangements.

Our team is here to support you throughout the planning process, from your initial enquiry to your arrival at the retreat. Questions are answered promptly by email or chat, and clear guidance is shared in advance to help you prepare with ease.
Support includes pre-departure travel tips, advice on what to bring, and arranged airport pickup in Goa, where you’ll be met on arrival and guided to the centre. On arrival, everything is taken care of, allowing you to settle in and begin the retreat without logistical concerns.

At the centre of the retreat is our yoga shala, where each practice is held in a quiet, spacious environment designed to support breath, focus, and ease. Accommodation is shared, comfortable, and well maintained, with private rooms available for those who prefer more personal space.
Between sessions, you’re free to rest by the pool, enjoy nourishing meals at our on-site Satva restaurant, or take time out for Ayurvedic treatments or nearby coastal visits. The retreat offers everything you need in one place, while leaving room for choice rather than a fixed programme.
