Everyone living well once chose to begin.

This is where everyday wellbeing takes root.

Is This the
Beginning You’ve
Been Looking For?

Perhaps nothing is “wrong.” Life is moving, you’re functioning, and you’re doing what needs to be done.

And yet, there’s a quiet sense that something could feel better. Your body is asking for more mindful movement, your mind craves moments of stillness, and your breath wants more space.

This beginning isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about returning to yourself, slowly, naturally, and without pressure.

If you’re drawn to the idea of feeling more at ease in your body and more settled in your day, this may be where the shift begins.

Don't wait, enrol today!!
Enrolling with Himalaya Yoga Valley was one of the best decisions I ever made! The course is so well thought-out and tutors are knowledgeable, encouraging and inspirational. The curriculum covers so much but is broken down into manageable lessons, which makes the online course so accessible to a busy, working mum, like myself...

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve never done yoga before. Is this suitable for me?
Yes. These classes are designed for people with no prior experience. Teachers explain movements clearly, offer options, and guide you step by step so you can participate comfortably from your very first class.
I’m not flexible or fit. Will I struggle to keep up?
No. Flexibility and fitness are not requirements. Classes focus on working within your current ability, with modifications available throughout. You are encouraged to move at your own pace without pressure to match others.
What if I have stiffness, minor injuries, or physical limitations?
Teachers are trained to offer alternatives and adjustments. You can choose gentler options, use props, or rest when needed. If you have concerns, you’re encouraged to inform the teacher before class so they can support you appropriately.
How often should I practise to see benefits?

Many beginners notice improvements in mobility, stress levels, and energy within a few weeks of regular practice. Attending two to three classes per week is a realistic and sustainable starting point for most people.
What should I wear or bring to my first class?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Mats and props are provided unless stated otherwise. There’s no need for special equipment or branded gear.
Will I feel out of place if others are more experienced?
No. Classes are structured to accommodate mixed levels. Teachers regularly remind students to focus on their own practice, and beginners are never singled out or expected to perform advanced movements.
Is yoga only about stretching?

No. Yoga supports strength, balance, posture, breathing, and mental focus. While flexibility may improve over time, the practice also helps build stability, reduce stress, and support overall physical wellbeing.
Can yoga help with stress and mental fatigue?
Yes. Breath awareness and structured movement help calm the nervous system. Many beginners report feeling more relaxed, focused, and better able to manage daily stress after regular practice.
What if I need to take breaks during class?
Taking breaks is always encouraged. You can pause, rest, or modify movements at any time. Listening to your body is considered an important part of the practice.
Can I start online before attending in person?
Yes. Online classes are a good option if you prefer practising at home or want to build confidence before joining a studio class. The same beginner-friendly guidance and structure are provided.
