The Hybrid TTC at
ālaya wellbeing

Life does not stop when you decide to become a yoga teacher, and it should not have to. The Hybrid Teacher Training was built for people who want the real thing, the depth, the lineage, the hands-on experience, without having to disappear for a month.

You begin online, studying philosophy, anatomy, breathwork, and teaching methodology at your own pace, supported by live classes and ongoing mentorship. Then you join us in person, in Goa or Ireland, for 11 focused, immersive days where everything you have learned comes alive in a room with real students, real feedback, and real teaching experience.

You leave certified, confident, and ready.

A Word From the Teacher Holding the Training

Led by Yogacharya Lalit, ālaya Wellbeing’s trainings are rooted in discipline and relational practice grounded in lineage, delivered for the modern world.

How the Hybrid Training Works

Two modules. One certification. Entirely designed around your life.

Module A: Online, Self-Paced

Dive into the foundations of yoga from wherever you are. Philosophy, anatomy, breathwork, meditation, and teaching methodology, all delivered through our online academy with lifetime access to every lesson. Over 15 live classes run weekly on a rolling 4-week schedule so you can join in at any point, and recordings are always available if you miss one.

Live Classes

Live asana, anatomy, philosophy, and Q&A sessions via the ālaya Yoga Online Studio. Flexible enough to fit any timezone, structured enough to keep you moving forward. 30 live hours are required for Yoga Alliance certification.

12-Month Business & Teaching Support

Qualifying is just the beginning. Monthly live coaching with Eveanna, 15 years in wellness marketing, supports you on pricing, communication, class design, building your audience, and sustaining a teaching career long after the certificate arrives.

Module B: 11 Days In-Person in Goa or Ireland

This is where it all comes together. Eleven days of hands-on teaching methodology, alignment work, peer teaching, live assessments, and direct feedback from faculty. You will teach real classes, receive real coaching, and graduate with the confidence to walk into any studio and lead.

Great yoga teacher training! The anatomy section was super helpful, and the online anatomy teacher explained everything so clearly. The example classes, along with the adjustment and alignment guidance, were really useful. I highly recommend this training

Excellent course. I have just finished the course & would highly recommend it if you’ve been considering the training. The course is great to fit in around your other commitments due to it being online but having the hybrid option is an added bonus...

Just do it , it’s amazing 🧘. I would absolutely recommend this course. I started with doubtful voices in my head but all of this knowledge and practice has quashed those doubts .I love the straight forward way in which the course is delivered. For me the flexibility of doing online classes at a time that suits as well as the live classes was a vital part of my success...

Don't wait, enrol today!!
Enrolling with Himalaya Yoga Valley was one of the best decisions I ever made! The course is so well thought-out and tutors are knowledgeable, encouraging and inspirational. The curriculum covers so much but is broken down into manageable lessons, which makes the online course so accessible to a busy, working mum, like myself...

Frequently Asked Questions

I have a full-time job and a family. Is this actually doable?
Yes, and honestly it was designed with exactly that person in mind. Module A is entirely self-paced, so you study around your schedule, not the other way around. The 11 days in person, in Goa or Ireland, are the one block of dedicated time you will need, and most students find that planning ahead makes it very manageable.
What happens if I fall behind on the online modules before my in-person dates?
There is no hard deadline on Module A as long as you give yourself enough time to feel prepared before your in-person dates. Most students complete the online content in around two months, but your access does not expire. If you ever feel behind, our team is there to help you find a pace that works.
Is the certification I receive the same as a full in-person training?
Yes, exactly the same. Both the hybrid and in-person paths lead to a Yoga Alliance RYS-200 recognised 200-hour certification. The format is different, the outcome is identical.
I have never taught before. Will 11 days be enough to feel ready?
The 11 days are specifically designed to take everything you have absorbed online and make it real. You will teach, receive direct feedback, work with peers, and be assessed in a supported environment. By the end, most graduates describe feeling not just qualified but genuinely confident. The combination of online depth and in-person experience is exactly why hybrid works so well.
What is the in-person experience actually like?
Intensive in the best possible way. Days are full but purposeful, with teaching sessions, peer practice, faculty feedback, and time to connect with your cohort. Whether you choose Goa or Ireland, many graduates describe the Module B experience as one of the most meaningful of their lives, not just as teachers but as people.
Can I start the online modules before I have booked my in-person dates?
Yes. You can enrol and begin Module A immediately, then choose your preferred in-person location and dates when you are ready. Just make sure you give yourself enough time to complete Module A comfortably beforehand.
Are live online classes mandatory?
30 hours of live classes are required for Yoga Alliance certification. All sessions are recorded, so if you cannot join live you can catch up in your own time. The schedule is designed with different time zones and busy lives in mind.
What level of experience do I need before starting?
At least one year of consistent personal yoga experience is recommended. You do not need any teaching experience, but you should feel ready to commit, study independently, and show up fully for the process.
What support do I get after I graduate?
A lot, genuinely. Graduates receive access to mentorship, a global alumni community, monthly business coaching calls, and bonus courses valued at over €1,700. Many also go on to apply for internship opportunities on our in-person programmes. The support does not stop when the certificate arrives.
How do I choose between Goa and Ireland for my in-person module?
It really comes down to timing, budget, and what kind of experience you are looking for. Goa offers a warm, immersive residential setting with multiple dates throughout the year. Ireland is ideal if you are based in Europe and want something closer to home. Both locations are led by the same faculty and lead to the same certification. Our team is happy to help you decide if you are unsure.
