Why These Practices Matter
Meditation, chanting, and pranayama form the heart of traditional yoga practice. Long before yoga was understood as physical posture, these practices were used to steady the mind, regulate energy, and cultivate inner clarity.
At ālaya wellbeing, these teachings are shared as lived practices rather than techniques to master. Rooted in Himalayan tradition and supported by contemporary research, the course offers a grounded, accessible way to begin practices known to reduce stress, ease anxiety, improve focus, and support restorative sleep.
Who This Course Is For
Open to beginners, practitioners, and aspiring teachers, the course begins accessibly with no prior experience needed.
Beginners starting a traditional meditation, chanting, and pranayama practice
Yoga practitioners wishing to deepen daily practice beyond asana
Aspiring yoga teachers preparing for meditation and pranayama components of training
Anyone seeking calm, focus, and emotional steadiness through traditional practices
Learning at Your Own Rhythm
The learning content takes approximately 2–3 hours to complete and is fully self-paced. You can return to the practices anytime through your profile. The optional six-day schedule offers gentle structure for those wishing to establish a daily routine.
