A Lineage to Learn From, And Carry Forward

An immersive teaching immersion for trained and training teachers ready to practise responsibly, refine their skills, and carry the work forward with clarity, confidence, and care.

Learning Through
Practice, Mentorship,
and Experience

Teaching Immersion at ālaya wellbeing is created for teachers who have completed online or hybrid trainings, as well as practitioners seeking to strengthen their teaching skills through in-person guidance. These immersions bridge the gap between understanding and application, emphasising hands-on practice, observation, feedback, and supported teaching.

Rooted in over two decades of teaching experience, the immersions offer structured mentorship that builds confidence, clarity, and professional skill. Learning unfolds steadily through experience rather than performance, allowing teachers to refine their voice, presence, and capacity to guide others with responsibility and ease.

Inside the
Teaching
Immersion

Each Teaching Immersion is shaped as a focused, in-person practicum, allowing learning to deepen through clear stages of practice, application, and reflection.

Daily Practice & Observation

Begin each day with guided asana practice and conscious observation, developing embodied understanding and teaching awareness.

Teaching Labs & Methodology

Engage in structured teaching labs that explore sequencing, cueing, class structure, and effective communication.

Supervised Teaching Practice

Teach peers and students regularly under faculty supervision, building confidence through real classroom experience.

Alignment & Adjustments

Refine hands-on skills through alignment, adjustment, and observational training that prioritises safety and adaptability.

Feedback & Integration

Receive real-time verbal feedback and written guidance, supported by mentorship and reflective integration sessions.

Why Train Through ālaya wellbeing?

Training through ālaya wellbeing means learning within a school shaped by consistency, responsibility, and lived teaching experience. For over two decades, our approach has remained grounded in depth rather than trend, offering a learning environment built on clarity, integrity, and care.

Teaching is led by dedicated subject specialists, each working within their area of expertise, allowing learning to unfold with focus and precision. Admissions are selective and readiness-based, and graduates are recognised for their confidence, adaptability, and professionalism in real teaching environments. Ongoing mentorship and continued study pathways remain available long after formal training concludes.

Don't wait, enrol today!!
Enrolling with Himalaya Yoga Valley was one of the best decisions I ever made! The course is so well thought-out and tutors are knowledgeable, encouraging and inspirational. The curriculum covers so much but is broken down into manageable lessons, which makes the online course so accessible to a busy, working mum, like myself...
