Teaching Immersion at ālaya wellbeing is created for teachers who have completed online or hybrid trainings, as well as practitioners seeking to strengthen their teaching skills through in-person guidance. These immersions bridge the gap between understanding and application, emphasising hands-on practice, observation, feedback, and supported teaching.
Rooted in over two decades of teaching experience, the immersions offer structured mentorship that builds confidence, clarity, and professional skill. Learning unfolds steadily through experience rather than performance, allowing teachers to refine their voice, presence, and capacity to guide others with responsibility and ease.

Training through ālaya wellbeing means learning within a school shaped by consistency, responsibility, and lived teaching experience. For over two decades, our approach has remained grounded in depth rather than trend, offering a learning environment built on clarity, integrity, and care.
Teaching is led by dedicated subject specialists, each working within their area of expertise, allowing learning to unfold with focus and precision. Admissions are selective and readiness-based, and graduates are recognised for their confidence, adaptability, and professionalism in real teaching environments. Ongoing mentorship and continued study pathways remain available long after formal training concludes.

On completion of the Graduate Development Immersion, you will receive a 50-hour Professional Development Certificate. These hours may be used toward continuing education or career development requirements with most major yoga certification bodies.
The immersion is designed as a supported, in-person learning experience, with guidance offered throughout the programme and an ongoing sense of connection to the teaching faculty and ālaya wellbeing community beyond the immersion itself.

We understand that committing to a training of depth and duration often requires thoughtful planning. For this reason, select immersions offer EMI and instalment options, allowing the programme fee to be spread over time rather than met all at once.
These payment pathways are designed to support genuine readiness, ease financial pressure, and allow you to focus fully on your learning journey. Details around availability and structure vary by programme and location, and are shared transparently during the application process and on individual programme pages.
